STIPEND LEVELS FOR 2008/9

           

            Mr Peter Griffiths, Chairman of the Diocesan Board of Finance, moved on behalf of the Board and at the request of the Bishop’s Council:-

 

            “That this Synod, noting the recommendation from the Central Stipends Authority that the stipend for incumbents and those of incumbent status should reflect regional variation around a National Stipend Benchmark figure of £21,600 per annum for the year commencing 1^st April 2008, RESOLVES that the stipend for incumbents and those of incumbent status in this Diocese should be at the rate of £21,900 for that year, being an increase of £640 on the current stipend.”
